1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using any Dream Realism product, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our products. You must be at least 16 years old to use our services.
These terms apply to all Dream Realism products, including but not limited to: Dream Realism PP Filters, Dream Preset Manager, Dream Weather Control, Dream Filter Config, and any associated tools, scripts, assets, or updates provided by Dream Realism.
2. Intellectual Property
All Dream Realism products, including source code, scripts, algorithms, technical implementations, user interface designs, graphics, logos, and documentation, are the exclusive intellectual property of Dream Realism, protected by international copyright law and registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.
All rights not explicitly granted in these terms are reserved by Dream Realism.
3. License Grant
Dream Realism grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software for personal use only. This is a license, not a purchase. You do not own the software.
Some products require a valid license key for activation. Some products are distributed freely to active subscribers without license verification. In both cases, all terms in this agreement apply equally.
If your subscription is cancelled, you retain access to the version you downloaded during your active subscription. Future updates and support will no longer be available.
4. Permitted Use
You are permitted to:
Use the software for personal, non-commercial purposes
Create content using the software for platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, and other social media
Share screenshots and videos that feature the software in use
Use the software on one personal computer at a time
5. Prohibited Use
You are strictly prohibited from:
Redistributing, sharing, uploading, or making the software available to any third party by any means
Sharing, selling, trading, or giving away license keys
Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or attempting to extract the source code
Modifying, adapting, translating, or creating derivative works based on the software
Bypassing, disabling, or circumventing any license verification or protection system
Using the software for any commercial purpose without prior written permission from Dream Realism
Claiming ownership or authorship of any Dream Realism product or any part thereof
Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright notices, watermarks, or proprietary labels
6. Code Protection and Derivative Works
All source code, scripts, technical implementations, algorithms, and code architecture within Dream Realism products are proprietary and protected by copyright.
Creating software that copies, replicates, imitates, or is substantially derived from Dream Realism's proprietary code, techniques, code structure, or technical methods constitutes copyright infringement, regardless of whether the code has been rewritten, obfuscated, or modified.
Any unauthorized reproduction or distribution of Dream Realism code will result in:
Immediate and permanent revocation of your license
DMCA takedown notices filed against all platforms hosting the infringing material
Legal action under applicable copyright law, including but not limited to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 1201) and applicable EU copyright directives
Dream Realism actively monitors for unauthorized use and maintains registered copyrights with the U.S. Copyright Office to enforce these rights.
7. License Verification
Some Dream Realism products use an online license verification system to validate your license key. This system:
Transmits only the license key and activation status
Does not collect personal data, hardware IDs, passwords, Steam account data, or any files from your computer
Operates within a sandboxed environment limited to the game directory
Includes a grace period that allows continued use during temporary server outages
Products distributed without license verification do not make any network calls and operate entirely client-side.
8. Privacy
Dream Realism is committed to user privacy. We follow a minimal data collection approach.
What we collect (only when applicable):
License key and activation status
Basic server logs (retained for a maximum of 30 days)
Email address and messages when you voluntarily contact us
What we do NOT collect:
Personal files, documents, or folders
Passwords, credentials, or login tokens
Windows Registry or system configuration data
Hardware IDs or device fingerprints
Steam account data or gameplay recordings
Browsing history, cookies, or third-party tracking data
All payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Patreon, PayPal, Stripe). Dream Realism does not store payment information.

9. GDPR Rights (EU Users)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:
Right to access your personal data
Right to rectification of inaccurate data
Right to erasure of your data
Right to data portability
Right to restrict or object to processing
To exercise any of these rights, contact contact@dreamrealismac.com. We will respond within 30 days.
By activating a license key or downloading a digital product, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that this waives your 14-day withdrawal right under EU consumer protection law, as the digital product has been fully delivered.
10. Availability and Uptime
Dream Realism does not guarantee 100% uptime for license verification servers or any online services. Temporary outages do not entitle you to a refund. We will make reasonable efforts to restore services promptly.
In the event that Dream Realism permanently discontinues its services, offline access to your current version will be provided.
11. Refund Policy
All purchases are final. Due to the nature of digital products, refunds are generally not available.
Refunds will NOT be issued for:
Change of mind after purchase
Hardware or software incompatibility
Temporary server outages
Violations of these Terms of Service
Refunds MAY be issued for:
Verified technical failures that prevent all use of the product
Duplicate charges
Permanent loss of access due to a verified error on our part, unresolved for more than 30 days
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase to contact@dreamrealismac.com.
12. Beta and Early Access Content
Any beta, preview, or early access content is confidential. You may not share, screenshot, stream, record, or distribute beta content without explicit written permission from Dream Realism.
Violation of beta confidentiality will result in:
Permanent ban from all Dream Realism products and services
Revocation of all licenses
Potential legal action
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The software is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Dream Realism does not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all hardware and software configurations.
For EU users: This disclaimer does not affect your statutory warranty rights under applicable EU consumer protection law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dream Realism shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or system damage.
For EU users: This limitation does not exclude liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence as required by applicable EU law.
15. Termination
Dream Realism reserves the right to terminate or suspend your license at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, you must immediately cease all use of the software and delete all copies in your possession.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
For EU consumers: You retain the right to bring legal proceedings in the courts of your country of residence in accordance with applicable EU regulations.
For all other users: Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Germany.
17. Changes to These Terms
Dream Realism reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through our website and/or Discord server with a 30-day notice period before taking effect.
Continued use of the software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
